Identification?
Hello there, I've heard of a few different types of mamod, but how can you identify which is which?

Its at SL2 or 3 then, i think SL3 more likely, as as far as i know all the SL1s were green, and an SL4 is Princess of Wales which was a reddy marron colour! But i doubt someones done that to one of those! SL5 are blue and SL6 are purple! And i think SL2s were mostly light blue, but im sure someone can correct me on those!

Mamods were technically all the same. The only differences between them were the funnels [straight stack or diamond-shaped smokestack; and then black or brass ovariations of the latter] and the colour liveries.
SLK - black with -red- lining
SL1 -Hunter green, white lining
SL2 -Lada blue, "" , had a black diamond stack
SL3 -Maroon, "" , had a brass diamond stack
SL4 - Deep Blue "" "" [Prince of Wales Special ed]
SL5 - Cherry red, "" [Princes of Wales Spec ed]
SL6 - Purple, gold lining
SLK - black with -red- lining
SL1 -Hunter green, white lining

may be worth mentioning the SLK is the kit form and is put together with nuts and bolts rather than rivets.
