York running day 19th June

It's fair to say that the weather wrote this running day off, there was only 1 loco on the raised line, 1 steam and 2 battery locos on the ground level track and myself and ste234 running on the 16mm line, dawn of the diesels!
River Ankh is finally running properly after having nearly all of the electronics replaced. River Ankh has even rescued Offler and it's (fairly heavy) train when Offler ran out of juice on one of the gradients.


Whoops No.1: River Ankh ran over a nettle and was derailed, and it just had to be on a bridge!


Whoops No.2: When reversing a train into the sidings for a spell of shunting one of the Andel opens decided that it didn't want to sit on the rails any more!

The Fowler rail bus didn't even manage 1 lap before the batteries on that died but it was pretty nippy and might not need to be looped all the time to let steamers through!

Now that River Ankh is working Offler will be able to take it easy!
