Spring (and plenty of steam) was in the air at todays meet -

Not live steam (Peep-Peep!)

And diesels!

Thunderbirds Are Go! as the Baguley brings in an out of steam Bertie and full rake.

Big Boys Toys today saw Thomas off his face! (Have I said that right??!

)

A cracking day and just think, the clocks go forward next week

Aye, it looks like the Butterly railway is quite a daytrip worth going to.

Only question is, how to get there on a Sunday with Public Transport...Derby seems to be the nearest NR station!

I checked it earlier, and I think Langley Mill is, but i guess it depends which way you come in from!

Langley Mill is close enough to where I live to assist with a lift, if that helps, the offer's there

Thanks for the offer NM! It'll still be a fair while into the year until I'll be able to think about making the trip down there! But I'm looking forward to it!

It is an Archangel/Merlin Talybont, the under pinnings made buy merlin and the body work by Archangel. Rebuilt buy its owner as it was a non runner.
