Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST
No, not Live Steam!
I am currently building an O Gauge Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST kit based on the 14 inch cylinder version. I have been working on this since Monday and I am now at the painting stage
So far, I have completed the backhead and have almost finished the handbrake.
This picture was taken before I added the detail parts:
I added the 'pressure gauge' (top right, which was simply an off cut of Pewter rod.
All I have done since the picture was taken is that I have added firebox door handles and painted some dirty water in the gauge glasses and painted a needle on the pressure gauge. Which to me has really given it some depth and added detail I still need to attach some brass pipe from the pressure gauge to the manifold, so it isn't floating in space If possible I will try to add in the loop of pipe, like the prototypes have
I have also painted the wheelsets, and the body (boiler and saddle tank) is currently in primer. Annoyingly though I have run out The next pic will be of the finished handbrake
