I beleive they have stopped making it.

I wonder if in the future it will become like the MM2 twin...with only a couple of dozen made :?

They are no longer made by Mamod and trying to find one is like trying to find moon dust. Never seen one on ebay yet.

Chasteam used to quote that it was available in Gauge 'O' on his website, but after I questioned that fact recently he removed it from his website. Forest Classics have none left. Mamod Spares (Bull Group Ltd.) have refused to answer my e-mail question.

I assume that Mamod Spares and others like your Arts & Craft Studio are just agents that only order from Mamod once a customer orders from them.

So I've sent a request to Arts & Crafts Studio to confirm that they still have one available.

Yup, Arts and Crafts Studio had not updated their website. They have none left.
