Ragleth!

Post by made-in-england » Tue Nov 23, 2010 11:17 am

Hi All,

My accucraft ragleth came yesterday! Overall im very pleased with it! Ran it up on blocks last night and it went very well... ran a bit fast and the regulator wouldnt stop it soooo turn off fiddle with the regulator.. AH.. it wasnt in its thread!

That sorted it ran very well! Theres some niggly stuff like theres a very very very slight weep between the valve chest and the cylinders.... But i can live with that for the moment.. I hope to give it its first propper run on saturday at the club track after ive played 5".. then off to the pub for a bit of a birthday doo!

Id also like to thank Simon Whenmouth... He is a top bloke to deal with and was a real pleasure buying from him!

Ill get pictures up soon!

Need to build some larger rolling stock now as ive only got ickle stuff!!

I should receive my Ragleth tomorrow. I ordered one in black. I nearly went with a Leader but then decided I quite like the Ragleth and I didn't want to pay that much more for a loco that is more or less on the same chassis.
