Post by Dr. Bond of the DVLR » Fri Aug 06, 2010 8:58 am

OK so based on style, photographic quality, Garden Railwayness, Creativity, and "Holiday" ness. Which photo do YOU think should win the Summer 2010 GRF photo comp? Please have a good look at all the entrants before putting your answer.
Good luck to all entrants, the poll will run for a fortnight.

They are to be found in the sticky thread entitled "The great GRF photo competition" at the top of the photographs section of the forum.

Well then, SLR midge wins the Summer GRF photo competition by 1 vote!
You may notice that in his profile information it now states that he is "Winner of Summer 2010 GRFPC (GRF photo comp)
Any winners will get this added to their profile info as a reward.
He now gets to choose the next topic for the Autumn competition but may not enter it! There were some great entries, well done to all who entered!

Thanks Zach and many thanks to all those who voted for me :D There were some very good entries. Anyway, I decree that the Autumn GRF Photographic Competition should be on that difficult to define subject of 'atmosphere'.

Good luck to all who decide to enter.

Congratulations to SLRmidge on winning the photo comp :D It's a good job that as the winner he's excluded in his choice for the next one - the SLR is one of the most atmospheric lines there is!

Great choice of subject though and the submissions should make for some great viewing!

I will echo Gregs congrats to SLRMidge, lovely shot it was. If I had remembered to actually vote then it was one of the ones on my shortlist.

As for the next photo comp...Hmmm.. Lets see.
