laalrattys Welsh Holiday, the 16mm scale lines

Post by laalratty » Mon Aug 02, 2010 10:36 am

Whilst on holiday I was lucky enough to visit 2 16mm lines, TonyW's Bryn Tydden Light Railway and the Moel-Y-Guest Light Railway.

Moelwyn with FfR vans 4 and 5 at the main station. The repaint was just about completed before the holiday but the loco still needs finishing off

Moelwyn in flying flea mode on the viaduct with Paul's bug boxes

Dolwydellanlightrailway's Edrig in black with his two carriages passes the shed

And then with a proper length train, which it coped with pretty easily

Paul's Lady Anne now fitted with a whistle

Taliesin with 5 of my carriages out in the front garden

Finally a (nearly) full FfR train again with Taliesin and Linda on the viaduct

Locolines Vale of Ffestiniog from another visitor. This had working lights and despite its size went round the R1 curves

Back on shed again in the late evening
Many thanks to Tony and Paul for letting me visit your lines once again, it was much appreciated :)

Very nice set of pics, thanks for sharing your holiday snaps!
Great looking Ffr rake and the "Two red Lady Annes" is a nice pose.

Is the Locolines Funkey owner on the Forum? (If not, why not?!) looks like they've done a nice job!

And yes Thanks to TonyW for allowing us to go play trains at his place, sadly i didnt get any footage whatsoever!

My line I did get a bit of footsage of something rather specail! Not many other lines can boast of doing this (properly!) I can only think of one other.

video will be up on youtube as soon as i can get my silly camera to talk to moviemaker.

Chuffed to bits. unfortunatley they dont last very long with the size of the batteries in them but they do look great whilst they are on!
