A trip to Llechfan

Last sunday I went for a run on the llechfan garden railway. There were two of us there and altogether there were no less than 3 accucraft earl/countess'! It was very enjoyable, especially as we had the best weather on that day whilst I was in Wales. Only pics of my loco and with the other earl double heading because only one other loco ran and unfortunately I didn't get any pics. I also got to test to see how much the earl would pull. That W&L train was actually quite heavy! I was offered a drive of a roundhouse vale of rheidol loco which would have been great, but the radio wasn't working so I couldn't

That's my favourite one too! The long grass helps to give it that light railway feel, very much how the W&L was.
