HAHAHA, Kathryn sorry riveresk sent me this one 2 days ago LMAO!!!!!!! Very good and great pic
What makes it slightly funnier (well for me) is that the web address for the Welsh highland railway construction news is www.isengard.co.uk (very good site for those who want to know whats happening on the WHR)

he, he, my boyfriend showed this to me first; it's hillarious and very well done though it could be a little tighter in places.

Yep Graham, there was a lot missing.... I was looking forward to the bit with Tom Bombadill (sp?). I had also read the books before seeing the film, and despite the missing bits, I have to admit, that the film images of the different places eg. Rivendell, Gondor etc. were just as I had imaged them whilst reading the books. Even though some bits were missing, the Lord of the Rings trilogy is still the best film I have ever seen. It was kind of sad, when I left the cinema after seeing the third one, knowing that there would no longer be a period of rising excitement, eagerly waitng for the follow up.

Loved the music vid, ptlrcecil :D

Unless you purchase the 4-disc edition for each film where they've included all (?) of the book :) !

Not quite all of the book but Tom Bombadill isn't completely missing. In the Two Towers extended edition there's a small scene where one of Tom's speeches is given to Treebeard after Merry and Pippin are kidnapped Old Man Willow style. The extras are good because they explain to you why they've made the cuts and and changes they have.

Yeah hate to put a dampner on that it has been reported that the Hobbit might not get made because of a massive legal row between the film makers and someone else
