A few pictures taken this morning on the 2ft gauge North Hampshire Minerals and Forestry line near Andover.

- Where did you get/how did you make the brass plate on the lubricator "box"?

Thanks for your comments. I could probably have kept the resolution a little higher perhaps.
Tony - The brass plates are paper painted with humbrol enamel of a suitable colour after gluing on. They've survived ok for nearly a year now. The overhead line warning plate was printed on ordinary inkjet photo paper and is from a photograph I took of the plate on the tender of NG15 147 which is plinthed at Avontuur. The file is available on the 16mmngm yahoo group (look in photos; SAR NG15), or I can email the file at a size ready to print to anyone who wants one.
Will - I hope to be there on 6th, but I work a lot of weekends and will be abroad 4th and 5th, and that may run over to the 6th unfortunately. If I have time I might go to Wherwell tomorrow morning though if it isn't pouring...
The line doesn't actually go very far at the moment (only about 4 or 5 train lengths!), but will be extended in the near future. I'd like to have some informal running sessions eventually, though probably on weekdays.

Matt, the hoppers are Bachmann East Broad Top 1:20.3 scale, 45mm gauge, but fitted with 32mm gauge replacement wheels. They will go happily round 4'6" radius curves on 32mm. They have a central (metal) spine which the wheels run ouside of so bogie swivelling is limited.
