Fantastic video Graham.

Marvin can now pull a good load again - with 8 on that time.

Looks like you will need to invent some working sanders for Marvin, or try painting the track with some anti-slip paint.

Only other alternative involves some garden surgery to get that section absolutely level, which will spoil all you previous hard work in laying this loop.

Or of course you could use Radio Control, but has anyone done this with the cab mounted regulator yet?

I enjoy showing of my trains and layout.

well im not going to rip up the garden either lol

will now tinker with the sl1k and see if i can get it to run as good .

Yes I've got a troublesome SL1K lurking in the workshop - think it might need new cylinders or the 'O' ring upgrades as it currently struggles around my test loop using full regulator.

And after that one I've got another SL1K which is missing a few bits to complete at present - this needs a steam dome to at least get it running.

At least they are a lot easier to work on than the standard riveted locos.
