This is probably Old News for most of you seasoned 3D printers, but I was having trouble trying to find the optimum settings for a new reel of PLA+ and came across this extension to Cura ......
It's dead easy to add through Cura Marketplace and extremely easy to use. I'm finding it a Godsend.

Re: Cura Auto Towers
Rik,
Out of curiosity, is PLA + more stable than regular PLA?
I don't 3D print, but have bought product.. I am not impressed with the stability of a lot of these offerings.
I am still of the opinion that given time, 'the customer' will want redress when product fails, or goes a funny-shape..

Re: Cura Auto Towers
Hi Phil
I've only just started using PLA+ so I don't have enough experience of it to say first hand. The most noticeable difference is that PLA+ prints at a slightly higher temperature than PLA so that might make it slightly less prone to distortion in hotter weather. But that's just speculation, I don't know for sure.

I've been using PLA+ for several years, since Steve first recommended it. I can't say I've really noticed any significant difference other than printing at 205 rather than 200, but the end result is about the same.

Re: Cura Auto Towers
I have had greater success with PLA+ compared to plain PLA.
The one I am looking forward to is HT- PLA HT= High Temperature
https://polymaker.com/ht-pla_ht-pla-gf/
With a coat of UV resistant paint it should perform as well as PETG outdoors I am hoping.
