Hi Rod
Great looking wagon. Well worth the wait.

There's been a limit on uploads since April - see https://gardenrails.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14812

Did you draw the sacks yourself? If you did, could you share the stl's and if not where did you get the stl's from, please?

Yes please Rod. I could do with a few more sacks for the brewery and water mill sidings.

I hope you all can make use of it. I can print some for you if you like, it's no trouble. Just PM me and I will do has many as you need.

Rod

By the way the Author is Syntax who produces on Sketchfab.

I think this is the one: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/coal-ba ... 52767d17df

They've really captured the crumpled bag look, and Rod, your printing and painting completes them well. When I first saw the middle picture I thought the sacks were made from scraps of actual paper grocery bags, until the layer lines gave it away... They give the sacks more of a woven, burlap-like appearance.

I don't remember which slicer you use, but Cura has a "Fuzzy Skin" mode which might break up the layer lines a bit for a different textile effect.

Not discovered the 'fuzzy skin' setting. I'll give it a try

I've never used it myself, but this is all about it.

I've posted examples in a separate thread for further discussion. :policered

I'm just now starting to explore Sketchfab and it's taken a bit of an adjustment to see 3D models displayed with textures. I've spent way too much time scrolling through pages of thumbnails of models rendered in bright blue or orange. Obviously our printers can't reproduce the colors, but it gives a better idea of what the models might look like when painted.
