Thomas and Friends in The Railroad Comes Through The Middle of the House

The trains all come through the middle of the house since the company bought the land.

That is very good

Many many years ago, we had a OO garden line which ran in one side of a lean-to extension and out of the other side. Ed "Stewpot" Stewart played that song as a request one Saturday morning to celebrate my 2 sons birthdays( both on the same day but 3 years apart!). Don't hear the song very often these days but it always brings back that memory, so thanks. :)

That's delightful, and epic special effects! Like Philip, I immediately thought of Ed Stewpot Stewart😅

Thanks both. These little films are always enormous fun to make.

A fine song to accompany a fine looking railway. :thumbright:

Never heard that one before, made me laugh! It kind of reminded me of a song I sing with my kids that goes "don't cross the street in the middle, in the middle, in the middle, in the middle, in the middle of the block!" Maybe there's just something inherently funny about the middle of things. (Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right?)

You're too young Drew!
The original dates from the mid 1950's! I think there were several versions but the one that made it in the UK ( and the one I remember) was by Alma Cogan.

Used to be one of my favourites, together with "The Runaway Train" and "The Laughing Policeman"
