Pete Waterman and his Railnuts team have been certified (!) by the Guiness Book of World Records for building the longest portable exhibition layout at 999.9metres!

Thats mightily impressive. 0.1 short of 1000 mtrs. It looks just like you are flying over it, it's so realistic.

I'm a bit curious how they got so close to, but not quite 1km... Didn't anybody have 10cm of track handy to stick on the end?

Regardless, it's a massive achievement and I have to give them credit for it!
