Splendid stuff, it looks wonderful!
I'm thinking carefully now about what I can wish for next...

Charming little engine, and looks very nice indeed in your blue livery.
It's also nice to hear from you again Zack. I'm pleased you're still doing model railways and congratulations on your PHD. A solid bit of work, that.

I've had an enquiry on the YouTube video asking where one can purchase a similar loco. I've searched unsuccessfully online for Morgan Loco Works. Anyone know how he can be contacted and if he's still in production?

Hi folks
I got a lengthy comment from Malcolm on the YouTube video in essence saying he's had his eyes lasered and so hopes to be continuing production once he's replenished his stocks of bits and made a couple more locos for himself.
I tried to copy and paste his reply but for some reason Android won't let me copy it

Re: DVLR No. 5, River Ore.
Thanks all - yes I'm terrifically pleased with the loco. I am still learning the loco, I was trying to be too mean with the gas on the first test - Rik has been very kind with his edit...
Now to build a railway for it...
Malcolm's reply on youtube:
Hi everyone. A lovely bit of filming there.
I am the builder of the 'baby' Garratts as well as lots of other locomotives.
I thought I'd better set the record straight regarding me giving up.
Yes, I did inform Zach and several others of my intention to 'retire' from building models. This was due mainly to my eyesight and several other personal reasons. I officially retired 2 years ago from my full time job in aerospace and in the first year I made about 1 a month. I realised that this was unsustainable long term and so I cut back.
I'm currently at the stage that I've used up all of my laser cut parts, boilers, wheels etc so I need to restock.
I'm currently redesigning the boilers to standardise and make them simpler to build.
Since passing the model to Zach I have had laser eye surgery which should improve my sight (so I've been told)
I will be building a few more at some stage but I am currently building a couple of models for myself.
Thank you for your interest. I will post a 'you tube' link to some of the other models I have made and our railway.
