AnDel Verandah bogie coaches

Post by MTA » Wed Jun 24, 2009 8:16 pm

It seems as if Andy is hot footing it to get this product out given the release of the W&L Pickering coaches.

At half the price of the Accucraft coaches, although being far more generic, I'll certainly be getting some of these:

they look fantastic to me, and I would love to buy a rake if I had the money :( , the dimensions will match fairly closely my scratchbuilt stock.
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

I like them, but all Andel stuff seem quite small in proportion to most of my locomotives, and I am in need of a rake of large bogie coaches to ride behind Edrig, Bertie and Fowler etc.

These look perfect for my railway! I have been looking for some bogie stock to run on the DVLR for quite some time (I only have 4 wheel stock currently!) I have offered to write an article about them for AnDel so keep an eye out in garden rail in a couple of months!
I would, however, like to so one of these in blue!

Good colour choice!

Will, they look a bit small compaired to the Argyll in the picture supplied on the website... I suppose they should look ok.

Usually the roof line varys between loco and coaches, if you look at the Andel photo, the height of the cab is actually about the same size as the varandah.

That's a pain, It'd be much nicer to have reviews done by a variety of people not just the some person as the writing style becomes boring.
