That's an almost perfect GR. Some double track, plenty of stations and passing loops, lots of wiggly track and a sunny spot to sit and watch trains.

Thanks Greg and, as you can see, there is plenty of scope for further development.gregh wrote: Tue May 23, 2023 11:11 pm That's an almost perfect GR. Some double track, plenty of stations and passing loops, lots of wiggly track and a sunny spot to sit and watch trains.

Your lawn is almost bowling green standard. Mine is, at best, golf course rough.
As Greg says, an interesting track plan. I like the junction for the branchline.

Thanks. There's still lots to do to fully integrate the railway into the garden, especially on the branch line side.ge_rik wrote: Wed May 24, 2023 8:56 am Your lawn is almost bowling green standard. Mine is, at best, golf course rough.

The plan is to eventually have a quarry branch off the branch line and perhaps add a stream, but all of this is someway off.

Perfect-sized layout and already well-integrated.
