Another masterpiece of video editing Rik. Just so much to see and hear in your narrative. I have said before how much I enjoy watching your videos, I seem to see more things that I have missed every time I watch it.
Please keep on posting videos Rik, 'I know you will' I hope to one day pay a visit when Anne retires next year if that would be possible.

I love how there's been a mini industrial revolution going on in your back garden over the last 7 years, with businesses cropping up all over the place. It reminds me of adverts that Colonel Stephens used to place to entice businesses to set themselves up rail-served premises alongside his lines. I'm not sure it ever worked - I don't think the KESR harvesting hay and willow (for cricket bats!) from its own embankments counts...

They certainly seem reluctant to move over to road transport in this part of Cheshire. I really ought to set the period closer to the turn of the 19th century to justify the heaviness of the traffic, but then I wouldn't be able to explain why Southwold (and Leek and Manifold) stock found its way on to the PLR.

Great video again. I do like the way you mix the narrative from one minute telling how you make the wagons or name the locos, to then describing the train operations as if they are 'real'.
I love the name Grist Mill.

Fantastic video once again Rik. Didn't know you have got into R/C vehicle's now, it is brilliant and very good narrative on the video when they were unloading. You even managed to keep your finger out of view when you operated the crane, or is that remote controlled also....

I have to admit that this was Take 2. Nothing wrong with Take 1 - all perfectly well choreographed as you suggest - except that my neighbours were giving their young daughter a bath with the bathroom window wide open and she was clearly objecting to having her hair washed. I got the impression she didn't like soap going into her eyes. The yells and screams sounded more like medieval torture, so I decided to wait for half an hour until the furore had died down.

Yes indeed! I did reshoot this clip when I noticed but when I came to edit the video I forgot and so included the wrong footage.

Here's the correct clip - plus the clip I decided not to use of the three-train scene (see above). If you stay to the end, I think you'll realise why I decided to wait for a while and reshoot it.

My latest effort. I couldn't let the spell of dry weather pass without a full operating session (three days of running to represent one day on the railway).

It got to 40 on our thermometer in the garden every day since last Monday.

Far to hot even to sleep properly...

Thanks chaps. I must admit it did get rather warm, though I did stay out of the midday sun for a couple of hours.

We've had rain here this afternoon - a welcome relief.
