The Bluetooth circuitry looks to me like an Arduino Mini (?), with Bluetooth receiver, voltage regulator and a motor driver of some sort. Probably possible to make it for half the price though you'd need to program the Mini

I thought the chassis was a bit over priced and was never a fan of those motor mounts with those enclosed yellow gears, just a personal opinion of course. I bought something similar from eBay quite a while back and that was only £19.99 posted. It came with a "normal" motor and gear set, metal chassis and much better finished wheels, pretty sure they will still be there somewhere.
