Solar power locomotives - question / advise

Post by Paulus » Tue Mar 12, 2019 6:45 pm

Hello all,

On this forum, and on some other forums, I have seen posts about some great solar powered locomotives and trams.
Unfortunately without any details on how these where build.

Does somebody know where I can find some basic instructions / wiring diagram?
I like the idea very much but I don't want to invent the wheel if somebody has already done that, if you know what I mean ;)
A step by step ' how to' and "keep it simple" electronics would be more than great.
All advise welcome!

Don't think I can help directly. Y
However, you've probably seen these but just in case not, take a look at :

Thanks Philip!
I had found the video but not the post you mention. I followed the link to the site of John (mentioned in his signature) and find some wiring diagrams: https://onmyworkbenchthisweek.weebly.co ... nch-latest
It is what I was looking for but seems a bit technical for(non-technical) me.. But its a start and I can give it a try once.

I wonder if there are some more 'reade to use' units on the market ...
