Here are some pics from the enjoyable, if slightly damp (well it rained for about 20 mins) steamup at SLRmidge's Silverdale light railway

With thanks to Ian for the catering, and a mention for PTLRcecil, who decided not to come becuase it was too wet (apparantly   )

Too wet, I didnt think drips could get wet!!

Mwahahahahaahahahhahahahhahaah!!

Sorry mate, couldnt resist.

But to bring this back on topic, it looks like the peeps who attended had a good time. Gotta say Midge, your line is looking a little over grown in places! The groundcover looks to be taking over!

I rather like the ground cover, gives it a really authentic woodland feel 8) Anyway, some very atmospheric shots there - I think it's a shame photographers don't go out in the rain more often personally...

Some nice piccies there laalratty. I have to say that laalratty was the bravest & stuck at running trains even when it was 'persistantly' raining & the rest of us had retreated indoors to watch a narrow gauge dvd & eat pizza.

Midge, that has to be the best picture I have seen of a Garden Line in many months.

It reminds me of Dolgoch Falls on the Talyllyn ;)

Shame about the fencing in the background though!
