rc mss help

I have been thinking of converting my mss loco to r/c. I would like to do it with as little permanent change to the loco as possible. I only want reverser control because it does not have a regulator or anything.

Would these be able to withstand the heat if I put them in the cab? Are there any kits that include all the linkages to the reverser? If not, what would I need to get it converted easily?
