Re: Bachman lyn project

Hello Gareth,

Is this still languishing in a box somewhere, or has it made it to an evilBay listing?

Thanks,

On the grounds there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers..

What makes it '5-axis'?

I 'get' 3-axes - X, Y, and Z..

Re: Charge socket wiring

If you look at your charging socket from the rear (wiring side).. Arrange it so the tags are left, right, and bottom.. Then: The Right tag is Red (positive) - from the battery / charge - switch. The Bottom tag is Black (negative) - from the battery. The Left tag is the negative to your reversing swi...

Re: Micron radio control

Neil said: Using a viper loco 10 ESC. Hi Neil, Having looked on the Mtronics site.. This would appear to be a 'centre-off' controller. - The instructions show how to set the 'zero' point and maximum forwards/reverse settings. Looks like you are stuck with 'centre-off' unless you swap-out the ESC to ...

Re: Micron radio control

The idea was that if a Purchaser used a different radio control system, they could 'just' swap-out the Rx.. That was when I was first involved.. They decided I was too small a Supplier, in the end. :-{ Depending on age of the OP's Boulton, it may have a 'black lump' as an ESC? - If so, I will email ...

Now I have remembered my username (and reset my password) on here... Again! ;-} I will try to drop in more often.. Re: Micron radio control

If you have a Rx102, that is 'just' a receiver.. - Somewhere in your Boulton, there is a ESC (Speed Controller) as well! - This will need to be reconfigured (if possible) to allow you to use the combination of controls you wish to.

Come back with the ESC details, and 'we' can help you out.

Re: Vale of Ffestiniog

If this is a recent acquisition, it should either be a Re65c or a Rx66a. - Supposing it is Deltang gear, of course.. y guess, If it is a Rx65c, and you have used a 12V SLA battery, you will probably have damaged the receiver controller.. To prove this, you need to be able to see the Rx.. 1. Switch o...

Re: Deltang advice

Hello All! - I am the 'Phil' referred to by 'Ge-Rik', earlier in this thread.. Metalmuncher has it correct.. I was waiting for some two-lead, bi-colour LED's to try things out. Do NOT try connecting pads 1 or 2 to A or B! Connect your two-lead LED's to pads 1 and 2 with 150 ohm resistors. This will ...
