Re: Sunny Sunday Steam on the FeckHallBahn

You make more use of your garden railway than anyone else I know! Looks like leaves on the line is going to be more common too.🍂🍁🍃

There's also a girl in a raspberry beret, waiting to be pulled by Prince*. Cheers, Andrew. *Apologies, that was a terrible joke requiring an appreciation of both the Ffestiniog loco fleet and classic 80s pop... Stunning coach, brilliant Dad joke! My daughters' eyebrows would meet their hairline if ...

Re: Zach Bond "Momentum Van" project

Well, it's only taken two years to get that momentum truck finished. As mentioned a few posts back, my intent was for this to be a former sugar cane truck, with an added molasses tank to hide the mechanism. I couldn't however figure out a tank design that would hide the mech, without looking too la...

Re: The (Windmill Hill) Welsh Highland Railway

Your line has matured beautifully and blends well into the garden, and the time and effort put into those carriages has been well worthwhile. As they say - Rome wasn't built in a day!

Re: Time to build a railway...but where?

My word, you have been busy (as usual😅) whilst I've been away. It makes my offer of finding examples of cab interiors somewhat redundant for you, but I will add a couple of pictures to the 'full size examples' post for the benefit of others - it would probably be worth adding a link to that video to...

Re: Yr Hen Felin & Yr Orsaf Newydd

One way to find out Peter! Some dry days forecast soon so we could have a running session. Phil Those coaches look terrific Phil, as does the platform. To minimise loading gauge issues, I made all my platforms so that they are level with the tops of the rails. I've not had a visitor yet whose stock...

Glad you made it home safe n sound. Your green Chilean HC looks as though it's been dropped at some point, looking at the bend in the running plate. I hope you can return it to running order👍🏻

Re: Jig Stones

I am interested in making some buildings for my SM32 layout using the Jig Stones method. Since the original moulds seem to now be as rare as the proverbial 'Hens Teeth' I thought that I may be able to make my own from silicon casting rubber. Only one problem; I've never actually seen the jig stones...

Re: Time to build a railway...but where?

Thank you Phil, that is most useful and I can work around it I'm sure. I still have little understanding of the fittings but as long as it looks purposeful I will be happy. That's exactly the approach I've taken with my tram engine cab. When I'm back home I will try and get some pictures together. ...

Re: Time to build a railway...but where?

I'll be very interested in the cab detailing when you start that. It will either look like a children's toy or Concorde.... I need some guidance I think! I've used a YouTube video for guidance, in particular this one https://youtu.be/5hgtrt0-asY?si=SGhL__hG5lBKLQ-E which has nice cab views. Plenty ...

Re: Deltang Tx22 problems and solution

Thanks for the heads up on this Philip. I have recently started to have some issues with my TX22, whereby control of my Boulton locomotive almost appears to be suffering from interference. I need to do more testing using other locomotives on the same TX first to see where the problem may lie.

That won't cover your lorry though!
