Generic Chassis

Using Rik's amazing guide on tinker cad I got up and running quite quickly to build a few of my own projects. My idea was to build a generic ...

Re: Peckforton Light Railway - Video Library
70 wagons! And you pack them all away. That's amazing.. It must take quite a while to get each wagon out into the correct place? Really like this way of doing things, brings reason and value to your freight operations. I've used cards with my 00, but never with the garden railway, I need a few more ...

Found a little time to make some progress.
We have fencing on the platform, buffers and ballast.
Starting to look like a railway!

Re: Garden Rail Magazine
One thing that is interesting looking at the front page of the magazine, is the article about "Building old kits found at the back of the cupboard" I am betting we all have something we have almost forgotten about... :dontknow: I'm pretty sure I know what's in the kit box. Oh wa...

Pocketmags should enable you to buy one.
New one today, lots of extra pictures! Really nice to see GR making more use of the technology.

Another cracker.. I've watched it a couple of times.
As for your own voice, I agree with everyone. Everyone hates the sound of their own voice and your is fine. I quite liked the one you did with the voice over, added to the video a little. But, do what you are happy with!

Fair comment.. I've built a Leanne, which also has a compartment designed for a 3.7v battery, so upgrading to 12v would get complicated! Maybe the next one I build

The 60hp Baguley is coming..
That looks really nice, you have made a nice job of all the filling and sanding. Take your time and they are crackers. Just sometimes feel that maybe the motor could do with a little more kick, maybe a more powerful one.

Re: GRR - Light Railway Extension
The Playmobile people all dashed out in the garden this weekend to enjoy the train ride. My daughter was running the family to the camp site. 20200524_171234.jpg These are bole laser craft buffers, not quite finished as the 'buffer' bits are not ready to be stuck on. 20200525_184338.jpg A little mor...

You did well to get out in the garden. It's really, really, really windy here! Would have blown my skips off the track.

Thanks Rik. There are a few people floating around, some more suited and some from the land of Playmobile.
The Playmobile people needed to test the new coach before I completed the work.. The chassis is held on with bluetac

Couldn't quite decide how much of the chassis to hide, but I think I'm happy with it..

Re: GRR - Light Railway Extension
Thanks to a very generous individual on this forum, I've started a my first ever scratch built coach that will be specifically designed for the Playmobile people who like to enjoy my railway. First I did a little mock up in carboard.. 20200519_154653 (1).jpg Then last night I put it all in clamps wh...
