Re: What I wanted to do, but way better

(Autocorrect corrected it to lea...

You could use a battery operated portable vacuum which is what I believe Drew was referring to.

What I wanted to do, but way better
It doesn't run on track, but it's one of the best LEGO models I've ever seen, and there's a whole bunch more on this guy's channel including an Avery traction engine that actually plows! It's impressive how much power he managed to get out of this engine. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Nrz2B5RTL_M&am...

This is something I've actually seen before, well heard of that is.
Apparently there's a lot to be discovered train wise on Chinese YouTube!

It's air cooled, the hollow thing with the fan in it is a cooling shroud.

Re: Building an 0-4-0 outside frame tank loco
Looking good so far, makes my current build look like a pile of garbage..... (I mean, it is but....) Don't be so hard on yourself; my early build were rubbish but I learned by my mistakes (there were heaps of them) and tried not to repeat them. Nobody is a master modeller straight up it takes time....

Re: LGB rail attachment
It would, but there isn’t room. It’s not a massive problem though, it’s only a headshunt extension and at the end of a baseboard. I was thinking it looked a bit on the homemade side of things too...Old Man Aaron wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 4:01 am I've never seen anything like it. The build quality approaches something commercially-available, but the differing screws between bonnet and roof, and what I can make of the chassis, screams "home-built".
