I was reffereing to the maxium pressure marked on the gauge not the loco working pressure. They are either 80, 100 or 120 PSI.

You certainly have an unusual loco the cylinders look a little like those on the Steamlines Little Giant (Aileen) but not exactly:

Looks like you have a Merlin Beck Anne there rather than a true Beck.

Argyle have also mentioned the prospect of having Accucraft make a 2'6" gauge Puffing Billy Garrat but if the NA is anything to go by it will be years away and cost a fortune and also be too big for many 32mm gauge lines. I wasn´t able to find any reference to the Puffing Billy Garratt project...

From my knowledge of these the 45mm version has inside frames and the 32mm has outside frames with cranks on the axels. I'm not sure if the frames are in the same place or not, if they are you would need to get longer axels and outside cranks, if not you would have to move the chassis plates.

With the German Accucraft Saxon Meyer there will be several large bendy locos available over the next 2 years that I would love to own but stand little chance of affording!

Electric low level warner device

Can someone tell me who makes the electronic low water level warning device for locos without sight glasses as I've seen one advertised somewhere in the past. I was wondering if it could be adapted to work with the Regner electronic boiler feed pump kit to get automatic boiler top-up.

Roundhouse cylinder design change.

Can anyone tell me when Roundhouse changed their cylinder design to have flush valves chests? I'm interested as I have just bought a used Fowler and it has the newer chassis design but with older design cylinders. Was the redesign only cosmetic are did any dimensions change?

Tony, thanks for the suggestion, do you think this Cheddar type from Cleavedon Steam would work?: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150402089597?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I don't think so as the thread size 1/4 x 32 is wrong, needs to be 1/4 x 40. You could always ask t...

If you have a similar boiler blanking plug at the top you can get a goodall valve to screw in there. The blanking plug is replaced by the safety valve on a Jack. The 1990s version of Jack is filled by removing the safety valve. There is nowhere to put a normal Goodall valve as there is no suitable ...

Does anyone make a modification to be able to fit a top-up valve to a 1990s Roundhouse Jack or Elsa?

You won't want to know about the Saxon Meyer that German Accucraft are making for next year either then! :P

We don't have a mains water supply but we have a bore hole in the garden. The water that is pumped up is filtered, then it goes through a softener and is pumped to the kitchen where it is filtered again. This is pure spring water with no addatives. Safe to use? Probably not, certainly not the softe...
