The noisy big loco could have been one built by Pilgrim Loco Works as the real diesel electric engines in them are ones used in model planes so make one hell of a row! :shock: :lol:

On parts of my line I sometimes find the tops of the rails get coated in a dark grime which restricts the smooth movement of rolling stock, especially on curves. A quick wipe over with a fine sandpaper clears it off.
