The scale of the weeds and the fine wrinkles on the tarp are all that gave it away as 1:1 scale. What an inspiring scene!

I love the whimsical inhabitants and that green NDM6 at 15:25. Earlier in the video the climbing loop was reminding me of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, so I'm sure it fits in well there.

One of the concessions I made for this house was that I knew there was no way I'd be able to fit my childhood 4x8 HO layout in the basement. Who knows, if I could've made it fit, I might never have ventured into the garden!

I've often seen this thread cited as recommended reading for new members, alongside the Peckforton blog... I certainly felt like I'd completed a rite of passage when I finally finished reading through the whole thing!
