I watched the Darjeeling and Shimla episodes as we travelled on them on our Indian expedition a few years back. I'm saving the Nilgiri for later. Might inspire me to make a return visit.

Sounds promising. I'll let Philip get his head around the finer points and keep fingers crossed he'll produce one of his excellent tutorials.

My mate's model of a SAR loco

Hi chaps. Some of you may recall that a former South African mate of mine has been 3D printing 1:32 static scale models of the locos he remembers from his childhood. He works from original works drawings, reproducing the scaled down components from them which he then assembles. He asked if I could s...

My mum and dad used to live in Pembrokeshire. I well remember walks on Broadhaven, Newgale and Marloes beaches.

Happy days!

Re: Wilmington Light Railway

Looks like an interesting layout which makes good use of the space. FWIW, my temptation would be to construct Stage 4 first. Then you can have something running round and round while you do other things in the garden. But there might be logistical reasons for starting down by the house. Rik PS Also,...

Some really great shots and interesting trains. Were the doors left open on the Taitset for ventilation?

That does look good, Rod. Well worth the effort. As others have said, the weathered finish on the greenhouse is especially well done.

Great looking model, Peter. Love the nonchalant driver. Interesting that the blue looks a different shade in the last photo.

Figure downloads

Not sure if everyone is aware that you can download 3D print files of a range of figures from DesignScanPrint3D which, at only £5.00 per figure (or in some cases per couple) seems like very good value. https://designscanprint3d.e-junkie.com/ He also sells printed 1:22 figures from £5.99 each (I'm su...
